Copywriting Crash Course

This course was organized under the auspices of the EDEE Hellenic Association of Communications Agencies. I had the opportunity to get hands-on training in Copywriting techniques from Ms. Daphne Zania. You can see the PDF files for samples.

Brief:
For this project, the communication objective was to make Lomography philosophy modern again. - Insight: Lomo has character, few printed copies.
Target audience: 18-30, who want to stand out. They don't follow mainstream trends, they are the eccentric type and they get bored easily. They want to discover something new all the time. The aim was to show that Lomo cameras are not made for the typical selfie, social media use.
Tone of voice: Modern/revolutionary
Application: Bus shelters, social media, print
Competition: All analog cameras (Polaroid etc.), Instagram

Brief:
The retail chain stores Public organize more than 1000 events each year; gaming events, book and music presentations etc. With various notable speakers and guests. The goal of the campaign was to create radio spots promoting the events.
Target audience: Families with children, Gamers, Music/book lovers.
Application: Radio (and or TV)

Brief:
Due to the rise of the camping trend, families and groups of friends tend to pick it as a vacations option. The problem with vacations outdoors, mosquito bites. Autan is a mosquito repellent that even though is not a citronella product, it is effective.
USP: doesn't smell, dries instantly upon skin contact and it's eco-friendly.
Target audience: Campers - families and friends
Tone of voice: Modern/revolutionary
Application: Video or radio spot
Competition: Eco-friendly mosquito repellents

Brief:
Promote IEK Delta, a small school for occupations such as; chef, car mechanic, makeup artist etc. The insight is that the selection of professions that IEK Delta offers covers essential need in everyday life. The communication objective was to address the target audience, that if you pick IEK Delta you study what you love and you have guaranteed professional placement upon graduation.
Target audience: Families and their college-age children
Application: Video and print
Competition: Similar schools of the same ranking

Praksis is an NGO with human orientation, it aims to the preservation of human rights of different social minorities. The purpose of the campaign was to create awareness about human trafficking - whether it was about sexual or work abuse. Focusing on children victims. Insight; "No one likes to be treated as an object, not for one moment"
Target audience: Greeks 25-54, they are under pressure and keep asking for help - due to the current financial situation in Greece. They are aware of social problems but they tend to ignore them - unless it affects them somehow.
Tone of voice: Simple, straightforward, experiential
Application: Video and print

During my semester Abroad in the John Cabot University in Rome, I took a communications course where it was required to create a Media kit. AdVenture by Edcom ​

AdVenture is the first Pan-European competition which gives students the opportunity to experience what it is like to work in advertising by creating their own campaign in response to a brief from a real client. WIth the team that I participated, I contributed more in the creative executions, as well as the ideas of the main message.
